1994
- Surgeon John Coon comes to the Mission Valley. An open house is held for the new St. Ignatius clinic, Mission Valley Health Center. Construction for the new physical therapy department begins.
1995
- A joint meeting is held with the St. Joseph Hospital board of directors about a possible merger. A new name is adopted in August: St. Luke Community Healthcare Network.
1996
- St. Luke board goes on record supporting one hospital in the Mission Valley. Physician Assistant Randy Trudeau joins Mission Valley Health Center. Dr. Jay Ballhagen retires.
